Week 3 Highlights
Buccaneers @ Bears
It was a cold day outside in Chicago and if you follow the Buccaneers you know they aren't to great in the cold.
Today, we took that to heart and played a tough fought game against a determind defense that wouldn't give up.
The Bears took an early 14-0 lead with Rex Grossman throwing 2 TD passes in the first half.

Not giving up, the Buccaneers fought back to tie the game at the half 14-14. Tampa Bay came in confident with their new star running back they aquired from the Minnesota Vikings (Adrian Peterson) in a block buster trade that also involved the Arizona Cardinals.
Peterson showed he was ready to play catching 2 TD passes and helped set up a 1 yard run for TD by Askew.
Said Peterson, "I'm glad to be in Tampa. When the Minnesota Vikings told me I was headed to Tampa Bay I got upset because I had thought I'd be there for a while, but hey, It's business and I'm here to play."
Peterson bings Offense that the Buccaneers had lacked in. A true Running game. With smaller back like Cadillac and Dunn, it's hard to push the running game to it's limits in our offense. "We now have size, speed and agility to do what we like to do said Gruden." (with a big happy look on his face)

Re: Week 3 Highlights
The Bears can attest. It was a long hard fought battle. Bears players would argue they sweat it out, but under the harsh snowy conditions, sweating wasn't exactly on the to-do-list.
"A distraught Lovie Smith reflects over Chicago's cold loss to Tampa."
REPORTER: "COACH! Coach, what are your thoughts on this week's match? What could your team have done differently to alter today's outcome?"
LOVIE SMITH: "We lost, plain and simple. We pulled off an early 2-touchdown lead, but gave it up in the span of, oh.... 2 minutes. I'm proud of our offense though. Rex Grossman threw for 2 touchdowns. That means something to us. Once their [Tampa Bay] defense caught on to what Grossman was doing, he was confused."
REPORTER: "How do you think Grossman will perform in the rest of the season?"
LOVIE SMITH: "I trust Grossman will continue to improve.... at least until we get the roster update, then I expect this 'Orton fellow' will pass him up."
REPORTER: "Uhh, roster update? Orton? You mean the same Orton who binge drinks at parties?"
LOVIE SMITH: "Yea that one. I'm sure his many talents will help us win games."
REPORTER: "Any thoughts on Adrian Peterson's performance? Your defense struggled against the run."
LOVIE SMITH: "Yes, I'm aware of that. Adrian Peterson played alright. I'm sure he will continue to be an asset for Tampa. He'll do 'fine.'"
Kick return specialist, Devin Hester, when questioned as to why he failed to return a punt/kickoff the entire game, replied, "Well ya know, I was born in Riviera Beach, Florida and attended Miami University, so I dont know what snow looks like. Cut a player some slack. I'll make up for it with 2 touchdown returns in my next game."

I knew I shouldn't have gone for that hitstick . Against Peterson in the open field, big hits just arent smart - better to just wrap the man up and call it a down. Well like Hester said, he will return it for like two touchdowns next game and I trust the man, so I'm not worrying.xxMH PRIMOxx wrote:Peterson TD: http://www.easportsworld.com/en_US/video/342762
